The impact of sound and music

Recording artists, movies, television, websites - all become a more memorable experience when what you hear is just as impressive as what you see.  Many otherwise engaging media projects underestimate the critical "2nd sense" of hearing, substituting generic sounds and music instead of the real thing.  (Or worse still, no sound at all.)

Don't let audio be the weak link in your project

Sound and music can enhance almost any visual medium.  Choosing the right source material, though, is very often much harder than simply downloading a generic sound file from the Internet and looping it over and over (nothing drives your audience crazier, actually).

Could you use stock music or sound from a store-bought CD?  This often proves to be difficult or impossible due to copyright law, as the artists who made these sound recordings naturally own the copyrights to them.  Licensing costs for outside use are usually prohibitively expensive (even for those "sound FX" CDs you can find at your record store).

Stock music and sound CDs are available for licensed audio/video use, but again tend to be costly, and you are often limited as to your selection of quality material.

We record the sounds you want to hear

Eliminate the guesswork in choosing your sound recordings.  Our 10 years experience in audio production and music composition, along with our single project studio rates, give you the results you want at a price much lower than the industry's inflated norms.

In addition to our in-house staff of creative individuals, we have strong ties to a thriving community of music professionals.

Are you a band or recording artist?

Many music artists with dealings in the recording industry have been left dissatisfied with the end result, or broke - and often both.  As a result, you feel compelled to cut corners on your next effort, and record fewer songs before running out of money.

Spark On The Horizon's project-based studio rates give you the flexibility to choose the scope of your project and dive right in, without the "clock-watching" that goes along with hourly studio time.

You might even want to do a full album.  It’s a bigger artistic statement, in addition to providing fans with better value for money as merchandise.  And it's much more affordable than you think at Spark On The Horizon.
